Wikipedia says Florida will lose in the College Football Playoff

Not many people believe in the Florida Gators this season.

Despite being the reigning SEC East champions, Jim McElwain’s club has taken a back seat to Tennessee and Georgia, as both are being pumped as contenders.

But one anonymous Wikipedia user penciled the Gators in the College Football Playoff Championship Game against … Syracuse, and we found the screen shot on Twitter before it was edited. A Reddit user initially found the prediction.

The anonymous Wikipedia user predicted that Syracuse will beat Florida 44-24 and cap off a 15-0 season and win the national championship, the first since it’s only claimed national title of 1959.

So, kids, this is why your teachers don’t want you sourcing Wikipedia for all those school assignments.
