Brock Bowers' latest sensational outing moves him up Georgia record books
Brock Bowers continues to cement his place in the record books in Athens. The tight end has consistently been the most reliable weapon on the Georgia offense and impacts the game as much as any player in the nation.
Against the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, Bowers became the 1st Bulldog receiver to collect 100+ yards in 3 consecutive games since Terrence Edwards did it in 2002. Bowers had more than 100 yards through just 3 quarters on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, Bowers passed NFL legend and former Bulldog A.J. Green in career receiving TDs. Bowers’ 24 receiving TDs are 2nd all-time in Georgia history, behind only Edwards’ 30.

This means that Bowers needs just 6 more scores to tie the school record and 7 to break it. With 6 regular season games left, not even counting the postseason, Bowers has a real shot to make history.
The Bulldogs are on their way to a 6-0 record, with a 44-13 lead over the Wildcats on Saturday.
