Notre Dame’s upcoming trip to Athens is now set, as the Dawgs and the Irish are set to kick off in primetime.

CBS announced the news on Tuesday as the Saturday, Sept. 21 contest between Georgia and Notre Dame is now officially set for an 8 p.m. kick down in Athens.

CBS’s coverage that weekend will start with an SEC doubleheader, with the first game being announced at a later date.

For now, Georgia fans know when arguably the best game of the game for Week 4 of the upcoming season will be kicking off.

Notre Dame has never played a football game in Athens. Georgia holds the all-time edge in the series with a 2-0 advantage. The previous meeting came at Notre Dame in 2017 and the first came in the 1981 Sugar Bowl, which resulted in the Dawgs winning the national championship after defeating the Irish.
