Carson Beck appeared with Aaron Murray recently on a video for a Georgia collective, and offered some details into his decision to pass on the NFL Draft and return to Georgia in 2024.

Beck shared that he looked back on the season, and realized how much fun he had.

“I hadn’t been able to play in so long,” he said. “To have the opportunity to go out and play the game I love again, and you never know what’s going to happen if you do leave, and you make that decision to go to the draft and do all those things. … What do I have to lose? Come back and do it all over again.”

Beck said his decision also makes it different to know he will be the starter after he went into last season not knowing about that call until 2 weeks before the season.

“How do I work even harder than I ever have before,” Beck said. “How do I still maintain that hunger even coming off a season where I thought that I did well.”

It’s about fighting complacency and finding a leadership role to build connections.
