College football analysts Danny Kanell and Dusty Dvoracek have released their own preseason top 25 rankings, and they have a surprising SEC team at No. 1.

They pegged Georgia at No. 1, followed by Oklahoma, Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State.

It’s a surprising move because Georgia checked in at No. 4 in the preseason AP Top 25 poll, and finished last season ranked No. 7. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs were ranked No. 5.

The main storylines around Georgia are its powerful on offense led by QB JT Daniels, and running backs Zamir White and James Cook. The secondary is the most talked about area of concern, and there have been some key injuries in the preseason. But there is also a feeling that this could be the year the Bulldogs knock off perennial power Alabama.

Kanell and Dvoracek will explain their picks at 8 p.m. ET tonight on ESPNU Radio, SiriusXM 84.
