The Georgia Bulldogs are one of the most talked about teams in college football after Week 6.

The Dawgs are ranked No. 2 in the AP Poll, but several think they could be on outside looking in on the Final College Playoff Rankings. Some of that has to do with the rise of Notre Dame, and some of it has to do with Alabama’s dominance — and the perceived loss UGA would take in the SEC Championship Game.

Georgia’s schedule now gets tough. The Bulldogs’ next four games will decide whether they get back to Atlanta and/or make the Playoff.

ESPN’s FPI predicts Georgia’s probability for its remaining games:

  • Oct. 13 @ LSU: 73.9 percent chance of winning
  • Oct. 27 vs. Florida (Jacksonville): 76.3 percent
  • Nov. 3 @ Kentucky: 82 percent
  • No.v. 10 vs. Auburn: 84.5 percent
  • Nov. 17 vs. UMass: 99.4 percent
  • Nov. 24 vs. Georgia Tech: 92.3 percent

Georgia’s toughest three remaining games come against LSU, Florida and Kentucky, and all three games are away from Sanford Stadium.

The Florida game is setting up to decide the SEC East, assuming the Gators and Dawgs keep winning, and it should be a fun matchup. Dan Mullen has Florida playing its best football of the season so far.
