Four-star Van Jefferson, one of the top playmakers in Georgia’s 2015 class has decommitted according to 247Sports’ Barton Simmons.

The Brentwood, Tenn., recently informed the Bulldogs of his decision after taking an official visit to Oklahoma over the weekend and meeting with coach Bob Stoops on Monday.

Jefferson’s decision leaves Georgia with three receivers still committed for 2015 — Darius Slayton, Jayson Stanley and Michael Chigbu.

Coach Mark Richt reportedly is on his way to Louisiana to meet with five-star target Donte Jackson who is listed as an athlete. Jackson is being chased by several SEC programs including LSU and could fill Jefferson’s slot if he commits to the Bulldogs.

Ole Miss and Florida are expected to beef up their recruitment of Jefferson over the next few days. He took an official to Oxford in December and has one scheduled for Gainesville on Jan. 30. Both programs are thin at wideout in this year’s incoming class.
