Georgia on Tuesday announced the passing of Uga X, otherwise known as “Que” after he died in Savannah earlier Tuesday morning.

Que was born May 27, 2013, and began his tenure as Georgia’s mascot for the 2015 game against Georgia Southern. Que retired following the 2022 season after became the most decorated of all the Bulldog mascots with a record of 91-18. He was also the team’s live mascot during 2 SEC titles and the 2021 and 2022 College Football Playoff national championships, and 7 New Year’s Six bowl appearances.

Uga XI, also known as “Boom,” took over for him before the G-Day spring game last year.

The Uga line of mascots began in 1956 under the ownership of Frank and Cecelia Seiler.

“Things will be a little different around the house for a while,” Charles Seiler said in a statement released by Georgia. “Que traditionally starts barking for his breakfast around 5:30 a.m. This morning, Boom waited until 6:00 a.m. to let us know he was ready for his breakfast so he’ll be a little later each day.”
