No. 5 Georgia and No. 3 Clemson are largely traditional when it comes to uniform combinations, and that appears to the case this week for their top 5 matchup in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Georgia will wear white jerseys, silver pants, and red helmets, while Clemson will wear orange jerseys, white pants, and orange helmets, according to a Duke Mayo spokesman, via Seth Emerson of The Athletic.

This is a monumental opener for both teams as the meeting will set a national narrative for both sides starting on Sunday morning.

Clemson hasn’t faced a ranked opponent to start the season since Georgia in 2014, a 45-21 win by the red and black.

While Georgia is looking at its established offense in the second year, and first season opener, for JT Daniels and offensive coordinator Todd Monken beginning the campaign together, Clemson has a new full-time face as well. QB D.J. Uiagalelei is expected to seamlessly fill in for Trevor Lawrence, the No. 1 overall NFL draft pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, largely because of his mostly solid play in limited action last season.
