Georgia defensive back Julian Humphrey has changed his mind. After announcing Tuesday that he was entering his name into the transfer portal, Humphrey revealed that he is staying put in Athens. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

Humphrey was rated as a 4-star recruit coming out of Clear Lake High School in Houston in the Class of 2022. He saw the field in reserve action for three games in 2022 but he appeared in the first nine games of the 2023 campaign, recording 11 total tackles and a pass breakup over that span. However, he did not play in the team’s final four games of the season.

The Bulldogs now have 19 transfers that are set to leave the program, including a pair of defensive backs. There are four incoming transfers in this cycle for Kirby Smart and Co.: Colbie Young (WR, Miami), London Humphreys (WR, Vanderbilt), Trevor Etienne (RB, Florida) and Xzavier McLeod (DL, South Carolina).
