Georgia appears to have lost some depth on its defensive line, according to a report from UGASports.com, which reported that redshirt freshman Marlin Dean is no longer with the teeam.

Dean, listed at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds from Bowman, Georgia, only played in one game for Georgia last year, and he made a pair of tackles against Charleston Southern.

After he played his first 3 years of high school football for Elbert County, Georgia Dean transferred to IMG Academy and was later an early enrollee for the Bulldogs.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart speaks with the media on Wednesday.
