Speer is currently under-the-radar as a prospect, but that could be about to change. He doesn’t have a composite rating, but is ranked as the No. 127 overall prospect for the class of 2022 according to 247Sports.
However, if reports of his speed are accurate, he’s likely to shoot up recruiting rankings during his senior season at Calhoun High School.
According to Radi Nabulsi of UGASports.com, Speer runs a 4.38 40-yard dash and a 10.9 100-meter dash. Those are elite numbers for any player, let alone someone who is still in high school.

Here’s highlights from Speer’s junior season where he shows off some of that speed:
Georgia now has 15 commitments for the class of 2022. The Bulldogs’ class is currently ranked No. 5 in the nation and No. 2 in the SEC, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Prospects from the class of 2022 can officially sign with programs during Early Signing Period in December.
