The Georgia Bulldogs will end their regular season Saturday against in-state rival Georgia Tech. The Dawgs are trying to end their regular season undefeated, which hasn’t happened since 1982. Their last conference game, which was against Tennessee 2 weeks ago, was the first time they had gone undefeated in conference play since the SEC split into divisions back in 1992.
The Yellow Jackets, who are 3-8 this season, would love nothing more than to end the Bulldogs’ regular season with a loss. The last time Tech defeated the Dawgs, was in 2016 when they won 28-27 in Athens. The last time the Dawgs played the Yellow Jackets in 2019, they won 52-7.
The Dawgs’ last regular-season game captains were named and they are Lewis Cine, Jamaree Salyer, and Justin Shaffer.
