There’s nothing sweeter than revenge.

After Georgia’s 45-16 beat down of South Carolina on Saturday night, Georgia linebacker Monty Rice took a bite out of the hedges at William Brice Stadium.

Literally:

This is a little bit of payback for South Carolina damaging Georgia’s hedges a year ago after upsetting the Bulldogs in Athens. South Carolina AD Ray Tanner later apologized for the damage.

South Carolina never had a chance on Saturday night. The Gamecocks couldn’t stop JT Daniels through the air or James Cook and Zamir White on the ground.

Daniels only threw the ball 16 times, but the threat of the passing game opened up everything else for the Bulldogs. White rushed the ball 13 times for 84 yards and two scores. Cook added 104 yards and two more scores on just six carries.

Defensively, Georgia was excellent. Lewis Cline led the way with 12 tackles. Tyson Campbell picked off South Carolina quarterback Luke Doty. The Gamecocks averaged just 4.2 yards per play. In addition to the hedges photo, Rice added three tackles.
