Hines Ward, a Georgia and Pittsburgh Steelers legend, is among the interviewees for an NFL coaching job.

The Houston Texans announced on Saturday that Ward, the Florida Atlantic wide receivers coach, has interviewed for their head coaching vacancy. Ward previously worked as an offensive assistant on Adam Gase’s staff with the New York Jets, and as a Steelers intern during the 2017 training camp.

Along with being on “Dancing with the Stars,” Ward is most known for his stellar career with the Steelers where he caught 1,000 passes for 12,083 yards and 85 touchdowns with the Steelers during his 15-year playing career, which started as a 1998 NFL third round pick and included being named Super Bowl XL MVP.

Ward was a member of 2 Super Bowl Championship teams (XL and XLIII) and is the Steelers’ all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown receptions.
