This upcoming Saturday, college football fans will be treated to some “Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate” between Georgia and Georgia Tech.

To get UGA fans prepped for kickoff, let’s take a look at the Bulldogs’ best and worst numbers heading into the rivalry weekend.

The Good

165.5: Georgia Tech’s run defense is just 10th in the ACC, allowing 165.5 yards per game. This should be great news for Nick Chubb and company, who figure to have a big day on Saturday.

3: Georgia’s on-field discipline improved last week, committing just three penalties against Charleston Southern.

0: Hutson Mason has been one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the SEC for the latter half of the season. He threw his last interception on Oct. 4, against Vanderbilt

The Bad

190: Georgia’s run defense did OK last week, but still allowed 190 yards on the ground. This will be the unit fans will have to watch the most this weekend, especially with Georgia Tech’s triple-option offense.

1: The SEC East is still up for grabs, but unfortunately for the ‘Dawgs, it’s not in their hands. All eyes will be on Columbia, Mo., in hopes that Missouri falls to Arkansas on Friday afternoon and sends UGA to Atlanta.

9: UGA is ranked ninth in the CFP rankings, but it’s tough for UGA fans to think about where this team could be if it hadn’t suffered upset losses to South Carolina or Florida. More than likely, UGA would find itself near the top-five with a very realistic shot at making the final four.
