At 6-foot-6 and 341 lbs., Jordan Davis was already a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. After seeing his 40-yard dash time, QBs have yet another reason to fear the defensive lineman out of Georgia.

During NFL Combine workouts on Saturday, Davis turned in an (unofficial) 4.82 in the 40-yard dash. Jim Nagy – Executive Director for the Reese’s Senior Bowl – had Davis clocked a shade faster at 4.78.

That speed is undoubtedly impressive, but how impressive is it? If his 4.82 time goes official, Davis will have a faster 40-yard dash time than Kansas State’s Skylar Thompson and Notre Dame’s Jack Coan, QBs in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Davis was already projected by many publications to be a first-round pick in April’s draft. His performance in Indianapolis should only solidify his stock as one of the top defensive linemen in the draft.
