Jordan James switched things up on National Signing Day.

The 4-star running back from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, decommits from Georgia and announced his commitment to Oregon.

James had been committed to Georgia since March 29, 2021; however, after not signing with UGA during the early period, it was evident that James was headed elsewhere. He had been trending to Oregon lately and had been flirting with Florida.

James committed to Dan Lanning at Oregon, Georgia’s former defensive coordinator. He’s ranked as the nation’s No. 16 overall running back and the state of Tennessee’s No. 4 overall prospect for the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
