JT Daniels has decided on his fourth school as the quarterback continues to extend his college career.
The former Georgia quarterback was the starter at West Virginia for most of this past season, but also lost his job down the stretch.
Daniels played well in his first years at Southern Cal and Georgia in 2018 and 2020, respectively. This past season at West Virginia Daniels he passed for 2,107 yards, 13 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
He has just 1 season of eligibility remaining, and could get a second if a medical redshirt is granted for his 2019 season at USC. He suffered a knee injury with the Trojans, and at Georgia dealt with an oblique injury.
Sources: JT Daniels has committed to transfer to Rice, marking the fourth college stop in his career. Daniels has played at USC, Georgia and WVU since coming to college in 2018. Per @espnstatsinfo, he’ll be the highest ranked recruit to ever play at Rice. https://t.co/SDt0I4oPyT
