Another SEC quarterback is reportedly cashing in on a potentially huge name, image and likeness deal.

Georgia’s JT Daniels has has signed a 6 month exclusive NIL trading card deal that pays him $100 per signature, Darren Rovell of The Action Network reported. ESM, which is repping him, says with
50 percent royalties on signed  and unsigned cards, it could reach 7 figures. He plans to share half his earnings with teammates.

Daniels is the latest SEC quarterback to ink an NIL deal, as Auburn’s Bo Nix has an endorsement agreement with Milo’s, Ole Miss’ Matt Corral has unveiled his own clothing line, and Alabama’s Nick Saban has said Bryce Young has deals that could also approach $1 million, which the coach called “ungodly” numbers.

At SEC Media Days last month, Daniels said he was not focused on an NIL deal, and since the rules changed on July 1, the timing made it difficult to do anything for it.

“For me, season mode kicks in June 1, when you come back from your May break because that May break is the only time you have off for the rest of the year,” he said. “Like I won’t leave Athens unless it’s an away game really until after the season. So we’re fully in season mode. I wish I could give you more about NIL, but it’s just not a huge focus for really a lot of people that I’ve talked to.”
