Kamari Lassiter, a veteran Georgia defensive back, reportedly told Georgia beat writer Anthony Dasher Wednesday morning that he does plan on playing in the Orange Bowl against Florida State.

While commenting on the topic, Lassiter insisted that playing against the Seminoles is “a no-brainer.” He also noted that he has not yet made a decision on whether or not he will enter the NFL Draft.

That’s the 2nd bout of good news for the Bulldogs secondary in the past 24 hours. Javon Bullard announced yesterday that, similar to Lassiter, he will play in the Orange Bowl and has not yet made a decision about the NFL Draft.

Lassiter had a strong season for the Bulldogs this year, totaling 37 tackles with 8 pass deflections and .5 sacks. The junior DB now has 14 pass deflections across his career at Georgia.

The Orange Bowl is set for Saturday, December 30 at 4 p.m.
