One day after landing a commitment from junior college All-American Dalen Ridgnal, Tom Crean’s program just landed another pledge.

Once again, Georgia reaches into the junior college ranks and lands a commitment from Florida Southwestern shooting guard Kario Oquendo. Oquendo announced his decision on Wednesday.

Oquendo picked Georgia over Oregon and Marquette. While he doesn’t currently have a ranking on 247Sports, Oquendo did average 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in his only season with Florida Southwestern.

Oquendo’s commitment gives Georgia a total of five new additions to the team this offseason including in-state high school guard Camron McDowell, Texas forward Tyrone Baker, Southern Cal transfer Noah Baumann and Ridgnal.
