Kelee Ringo joined the party, and now more than ever the conversation about the Philadephia Eagles being the Philadelphia Bulldogs, at least on defense, heats up.
The Eagles traded a 2024 3rd round pick to the Texans for it, and they’ll get a star cornerback most known for his Pick 6 touchdown return to beat Alabama in the national championship 2 seasons ago. Ringo is 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds originally from Tacoma, Washington.
He’s the 5th Georgia player to be drafted by the Eagles in the last 2 years after Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith.
Kirby Smart was quick to congratulate Ringo, who wrote on social media, “Can’t wait to see what you do in Philly.”

Beyond the famous Pick 6 in Indianapolis, Ringo followed it up with a season in which he received second-team All-SEC honors after he led Georgia with 7 pass breakups and made 42 tackles and 2 interceptions as he started all 15 games of the Bulldogs’ second straight national title season.
Let’s go @KeleeRingo !! Can’t wait to see what you do in Philly. I know you’ve worked really hard for this & so happy you were able to reach your goals and more. I know you have such a bright future & I’m so excited. Hope you can come back to Athens sometime. GO DAWGS !!
