The Georgia Bulldogs won’t be defending their national championship this year, but the recruiting class they are bringing in appears to be one that could help them get back to winning national championships in the very near future.

The Bulldogs claimed the top recruiting class in the country, led by Ellis Robinson IV, a defensive back from IMG Academy.

According to Kirby Smart, what separates him from other recruits is his mindset and presence off the field.

“Well, most impressive thing about him is he has the right kind of head on his shoulders,” Smart said on the SEC Network. “He is very humble, great parents. They sent him to IMG and made a commitment to him growing up. He has been a tremendous asset already being here, jumping in at practice.”

Another big recruit was Ryan Puglisi, who is the lone quarterback coming to Georgia after Dylan Raiola decided to go to Nebraska.

“Ryan is a tremendous young man, great family and he has been committed for a long time,” Smart said. “They knew we had a quarterback deficit in that room. They know we are always looking for good players and he is one of them.”
