Kirby Smart does not appear to be in the Halloween spirit on this holiday.

On Monday, Georgia basketball coach Mike White was asked about what he may dress up as for the spooky day, and White said that he might be Ricky Bobby this year. Thus, the media in Athens attempted to goad a similar response out of Smart as well.

Instead, the Bulldogs’ football coach did not know when Halloween was and explained that he would be in the facility working during the night. He added that his children have grown out of the age of trick-or-treating.

Frankly, this response lines up fairly well with Smart’s perceived demeanor and work ethic. After all, his team has perhaps its biggest regular season matchup of the year when it hosts 7-1 Missouri on Saturday, and there is plenty of work to be done in figuring out how to slow down Brady Cook and the Tiger offense.
