No. 1 Georgia will get a road challenge on Saturday when the Bulldogs travel to take on host No. 24 Kentucky.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart described the task ahead against Kentucky’s NFL-style offense that packs a powerful approach.

Smart says the vaunted Georgia defense is relishing the opportunity to showcase its talent against a physical opponent.

“It’s been good. They enjoy it more, you know, when we get to show clips of the 49ers and NFL teams,” Smart said. “… It motivates them because a lot of [NFL] teams look at those tapes”

Meanwhile, Smart praised the play of the Georgia offensive line.

“I had high expectations of this offensive line from the beginning, and I’ve been very pleased with this offensive line group … I’m very pleased with our unit has performed,” Smart said. “Could they do better? Yeah … I think Stacy’s done a tremendous job with them.”

Georgia leads the all-time series 61-12-2 with a 12-game winning streak in the series. However, Smart has a ton of respect for Kentucky and the way the Wildcats have mucked up the matchups.

“They’ve been bloodbaths, man,” Smart said. “… You come out of the game, you’re really sore.”
