Kirk Herbstreit hearing that Georgia fans are 'coming in full force' to Rose Bowl
ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit had a report on Monday that won’t surprise Georgia fans one bit.
Herbstreit said on Twitter that he was hearing from people at the Rose Bowl who told him Georgia fans were “coming in full force” for the College Football Playoff semifinal against Oklahoma on Jan. 1.
Apparently, Bulldogs fans are already buying up a lot of tickets for the game across the country in Pasadena, Calif.
“(Oklahoma) fans better consider the trip to avoid ‘road’ game atmosphere,” Herbstreit tweeted. “UGA fans will travel anywhere in masses.”
‘Dawgs fans have already proven that throughout this season. They basically overtook South Bend, Ind., in Week 2 when they traveled to Notre Dame. They also had incredible turnouts for a road game against Tennessee in Week 5 and for Saturday’s SEC Championship Game.
Here’s Herbstreit’s tweet from Monday:
By the way hearing from the folks at the @rosebowlgame that the @FootballUGA fans are coming full force. @OU_Football fans better considering the trip to avoid “road” game atmosphere. UGA fans will travel anywhere in masses.
