KJ Bolden announced on Wednesday he plans to sign with Georgia.

Bolden, who attends Buford (Ga.) High School, was previously committed to Florida State. The 5-star safety chose the Noles back in August, but the Bulldogs continued to push for his commitment over the last few months.

That hard work paid off, as the Bulldogs are now set to sign the No. 3 player from the state of Georgia. Bolden is also the No. 15 overall player nationally and the No. 1 safety in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Reports circulated on Wednesday morning that Georgia was gaining momentum in Bolden’s recruitment. He officially flipped during a ceremony at his high school on Wednesday afternoon.

Bolden’s arrival strengthens what was already an elite signing class. Georgia already had the No. 1 overall recruiting class in the country, even after losing 5-star QB Dylan Raiola earlier this week.

Bolden becomes the 4th 5-star prospect (per 247Sports Composite) to sign with Georgia in the class of 2024.
