Georgia senior linebacker Ramik Wilson said this week the Bulldogs “underestimated” Florida prior to Saturday’s 38-20 loss, a surprising setback that essentially eliminated his team from College Football Playoff contention.
Coach Mark Richt said Tuesday his team’s failure to set the edge and faulty execution with gap assignments led to the Gators’ season-high rushing total, not preparation or respect issues.
“That’s why sometimes I don’t want guys to talk to the media,” Richt said. “We had lot of respect.”

Richt often backs his players, but he isn’t happy with Wilson’s statement:
I asked Richt about Ramik Wilson saying UGA "underestimated" Florida. CMR said that's why he doesn't want some players to talk the to media"
