Mekhi Mews breezes past defense for touchdown as Georgia's lead grows
Mekhi Mews is having a big day in Georgia’s season opener against UT-Martin.
The Bulldogs receiver has 75 receiving yards on just 3 receptions, and picked up his first touchdown of the game in the third quarter on a ridiculously athletic play.
Mews took a screen pass from Carson Beck 54 yards to the end zone, blowing past UT-Martin’s defense on the way.

After a somewhat slow start against the Skyhawks, Georgia is no cruising. The Bulldogs lead 31-0 in the early stages of the fourth quarter and are looking to tack on a few more TDs before the end of the game.
Carson Beck is having a solid debut as starter with 294 yards, a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown. Beck has been targeting star receiver Brock Bowers, who has 77 yards on 5 receptions.
Georgia is looking to close out the Week 1 game and get ready for its next matchup against Ball State.
