Michael Jackson III is taking his talents to Athens.

The USC transfer wide receiver took to social media on Thursday to announce that he has committed to Georgia to continue his college football career.

Jackson arrives at UGA after 3 seasons with the Trojans, playing in 24 games. Though Jackson has dealt with multiple injuries, he has not used a redshirt and will be considered a true senior in 2024 with the Bulldogs.

Jackson’s most productive season came in 2022. Playing in 8 games, Jackson logged 17 catches for career highs of 236 yards and 4 touchdowns.

This past season, Jackson played in 9 games. He again had 17 receptions, but his numbers dipped to 146 yards and 1 touchdown.

Jackson also has experience as a punt returner. He logged 18 returns for 100 yards over 3 seasons, including 11 for 70 yards in the 2022 campaign.

Coming out of Las Vegas (Nevada) Desert Pines, Jackson was a sought-after prospect. He was rated 4-stars, the No. 59 wide receiver and No. 375 prospect overall in 2021 by the 247Sports Composite. He signed with USC over Kentucky, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, USC, UCLA, Utah and others.
