Though the 2018 NFL Draft is only a couple of months in the past, NFL scouts are already looking ahead to 2019 and beyond.

In fact, one anonymous NFL scout is already getting excited about the potential 2020 quarterback class, according to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller.

In a piece about how teams aren’t excited about the 2019 quarterbacks, the scout said that former Georgia QB Jacob Eason (now at Washington) and current Georgia QB Jake Fromm could be the first two picks in the 2020 Draft:

“That kid at Georgia (Jake Fromm) and the one that left (Jacob Eason) are legit dudes,” the scout told Miller. “They could go 1-2 and they were at the same school! Those are the ones to watch.”

A lot has to happen for those two players to go with the first two picks in 2020, obviously. First of all, neither will be seniors, so they’d have to leave school a year early.

Second, Eason won’t be playing for Washington this fall, due to NCAA transfer rules, so he’ll have to prove he is still an elite quarterback in 2019.
