Brett Thorson may have just produced the punt of the year for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Heck, that may be the punt of the decade. Thorson booted the ball 75 yards, past Tennessee returner Dee Williams and out of bounds right at the 1-yard line.

Tennessee couldn’t do anything with the ball the following possession, punting to Georgia to give the Bulldogs a short field. The next play, Georgia was in the end zone and on top 14-3.

Best of luck finding a better punt across college football this year.

Georgia looks like the better team early in Athens, but there’s still a lot of football to be played. The Bulldogs have played elite defense against a stout Tennessee offense.

And the Bulldogs are certainly winning the special teams battle so far.
