The SEC Championship Game matchup between LSU is on the horizon and while Georgia is the definite favorite, there is some hype surrounding LSU with some of the impressive wins the Tigers have had as they have made strides under new head coach Brian Kelly.

College football analysts Rece Davis, Pete Thamel and Bill Connelly recently weighed in on who their picks were.

“It starts with Jayden Daniels running well but his ankle is sprained and it’s hard to count on that,” Connelly said. “Basically anything I try to talk myself into with this game being close, just didn’t work, didn’t hold up. I think LSU had a lovely season, had a lovely run.”

Indeed LSU has, but that didn’t change the fact that Connelly and the rest of the panel chose Georgia to come out with the W.

The two teams are set to kick off at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday.
