Former Georgia QB Aaron Murray has a new job this coming football season, even if it’s not the job he probably wanted.

After trying to make it in the NFL for a few years, Murray will return to the college game as an announcer this fall.

According to a report, the SEC’s all-time passing yards leader will serve as an analyst for CBS in a limited capacity when the 2017 season kicks off:

“Yeah a little,” Murray told Dawgs247 when asked if he’d be working for CBS. “10 games in the booth covering college.”

Murray tried to catch on with the Los Angeles Rams this offseason, but was cut back in May and has been unable to find a new NFL squad.

The former Bulldog was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of 2014 NFL Draft and has also played for the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles in his brief pro career.

As one of the best quarterbacks in SEC history, though, he has a good chance of finding success in the college broadcast booth.
