Georgia scored a huge win against ACC foe North Carolina in this season’s Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game. Why not do it again in a few more years?

The Bulldogs will face Virginia in the 2020 edition of the game, according to a report from macon.com. The contest at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta is slated for Monday, Sept. 7, which will be the first Labor Day game Georgia has played since 1982, per the report.

Macon.com obtained the game contract through a Freedom of Information Act request in Virginia. The contract, which featured the signature of Cavaliers associate athletic director Jon Oliver, showed Georgia as the game’s other participant.

The report stated “playing in this game every four-to-five years is something (Georgia) has expressed interest in.”
