Jacob Park is still sorting out his future at the University of Georgia.

Chip Towers of the AJC reported Wednesday that the Bulldogs’ coaching staff — including Mark Richt and defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt — has reached out to the former four-star quarterback who quit the team earlier this week, but he hasn’t returned their calls.

Park posted this message on his Facebook page on Wednesday night, confirming published reports of his decision to quit the team:

Park’s decision to leave stems from falling to No. 3 on the depth chart after spring practice in the race for the starting job alongside Brice Ramsey and Faton Bauta. Park is likely fourth on the roster now that Virginia transfer Greyson Lambert is enrolling at Georgia.
