Georgia had a lot of success as of late when it comes to winning the SEC East.

The Bulldogs have won the SEC East 3 out of the last 4 years with rival Florida snapping a 3-year winning streak for the Dawgs by clinching the East title in 2020.

So, who are the biggest threats to another Georgia division title in 2021?

Spencer Hall of Every Day Should Be Saturday joined Greg McElroy and Cole Cubelic on “McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning” on WJOX on Thursday to talk about who can challenge the Bulldogs the most this year:

“I think that it’s a very interesting thing that Cole has, when he thinks that Kentucky is best built to challenge Georgia,” Hall said. “Remember, we don’t have to challenge Georgia consistently, we just need Georgia to mess up a couple of times. There’s one thing that I can bank on personally as a Florida fan, a few things actually. One, Georgia will mess up from time to time. Two, Florida will then mess up that opportunity most of the time.

“I think when you’re talking about what they’re built to do, Kentucky, to me, is one of the meanest challenges in the SEC East because of the way they play. There’s not a lot you could do to budge them, and they’re going to hit you in the face for four quarters, and they’re going to enjoy it. I know a lot of people are like ‘we’re gonna come out and hit in the face for four quarters.’ They’ll do it, but they’re not gonna relish like Kentucky does. They really like their profile and if they had a little bit of a passing game, which they might do with Will Levis named their starter, I think they’re gonna be really intriguing. With Florida, I know what’s gonna happen y’all! They’re gonna call a cover zero blitz and blow it.”

We’ll see if Hall and Cubelic are proven right about the Wildcats being Georgia’s biggest challenge this fall.
