Stetson Bennett can be counted among those happy to see JT Daniels get back on the field for Georgia.

Bennett once again got the start on Saturday against Missouri. Daniels, who has missed time with a lat injury, was 7-of-11 passing for 82 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

Bennett said it was “cool” to see Daniels, who had last played in September, getting into the action on Saturday.

“Any time somebody else goes in there and has success — it’s cool,” Bennet said after the game, per On3. “We’re buddies and we’re friends — yeah, it was pretty cool to see him out there.”

Bennett said the two QBs get along well as teammates.

“We talk about every series coming off the field, about what I saw or what he saw from the sideline,” answered Bennett. “Usually we both have the same ideas but sometimes somebody else sees something that the other person doesn’t see. We’re always communicating. Just trying to help each other and by doing that, help the entire team.”
