Stetson Bennett is a homegrown product for the Georgia Bulldogs, and the people of Blackshear, Georgia are letting him know that they support their own hometown hero leading Georgia to the national championship.

Bennett got the marquee sign treatment at Blackshear Elementary School, with a statement that read, “We love the Mailman. Priority Mail to Indy.”

Blackshear is a town of about 3,400 people in the Southeast corner of the state. And the people of Bennett’s hometown have reason to be excited following the quarterback’s performance in the Orange Bowl victory against Michigan. Bennett was 20-for-30 passing for 313 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also added 3 carries for 32 yards.

Bennett and Georgia will take on Alabama on Jan. 10 in Indianapolis.
