Stetson Bennett might not be the most physically gifted quarterback in the country.

But there aren’t many signal callers who have proven that they can perform and win at the highest level they way Bennett has the last 2 years.

And the 5-11, 190-pound senior is at it again on Saturday against LSU in the SEC Championship game.

Bennett has picked apart the LSU defense and been in total command of the game, making solid throws in the pocket, while under pressure, and on the move.

In all, he completed 19-of-24 passes for 214 yards and 4 touchdowns in the opening half to stake the top-ranked Bulldogs to a 35-10 halftime lead.

Whether or not Bennett garners serious consideration for the Heisman Trophy remains to be seen.

Georgia, however, will be more than happy to have the former walk-on leading them into the College Football Playoff for the 2nd consecutive year.
