Trent Baalke, the Jacksonville Jaguars general managers, said the franchise has narrowed the choice for the No. 1 overall pick to 4 options, including Georgia DE Travon Walker.

Baalke said the pick doesn’t need to be made today, so there’s no sense in forcing it and the Jaguars have plenty of time. Baalke added that the team is ahead of last year’s schedule in terms of preparation.

Baalke didn’t refer to Walker specifically, and wouldn’t reveal names or positions, but when asked about Michigan pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson, and Walker, the GM said, “They’re both productive in their own way … Totally different schemes, used differently in those schemes.”

Asked specifically about Walker, Baalke said the fun part of the evaluation process is talking with coaches about how they used the player in the college system, and how they might fit in the Jaguars’ system.
