Trevor Lawrence has a lot of confidence in one defensive back heading into the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 2022 season.

Former Georgia standout and now Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell is gaining huge respect on and off the field.

Campbell, who was drafted by the Jaguars in the 2021 NFL Draft in the second round, has made quite an impression on Lawrence.

Jaguars beat reporter John Shipley of Jaguar Report asked Lawrence his thoughts on Campbell and he said:

“He’s always been a freak physically … looks stronger, a little bit faster this season.”

Lawrence went on further to say that Campbell is playing with “more swag to him this year,” per Shipley.

It’s safe to say that the Jaguars, and namely Trevor Lawrence, are happy with the former Bulldog on the squad.

There is one more preseason game for the Jaguars, on Saturday, Aug. 27, against the Falcons in Atlanta before the season fully begins on Sept. 11 against the Commanders.

We will see how this swag replicates on the field for Campbell this season.
