Saturday was a great day if you are a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. The Wildcats looked dominant against Florida, controlling the game the entire way en route to the 33-14 win.

Running back Ray Davis had a record-breaking performance in the win, as he rushed for 280 yards and had 4 total touchdowns. The 280 rushing yards were the 3rd most in the history of Kentucky football.

Any time the Wildcats can beat Florida, it shows the progress Kentucky has made since Mark Stoops became the head coach.

However, Kentucky linebacker JJ Weaver doesn’t consider this a big win, and said he knew the Wildcats were going to win the entire time.

“Florida is a good team, but honestly, they weren’t that good of team,” Weaver said. “I trust my guys and we watch film. At practice last week, we were flying around being dominant, and I already knew  Florida wasn’t ready for us.”

For the Wildcats, it is a very nice win and the team moves to 5-0. Kentucky figures to be ranked next week when the Wildcats head to Athens to take on No. 1 Georgia.

Kickoff for that game against the Bulldogs is 7 pm ET, and will be on ESPN.
