Kentucky has a new kicker.

On Sunday afternoon, the Wildcats landed a commitment from ex-Georgia Southern kicker Alex Raynor.

Here’s his announcement:

Raynor is a very experienced college kicker. He’s been Georgia Southern’s primary starter in that role for the past 3 seasons. He is 45-of-59 on field goal attempts over the last 3 years, giving him a make percentage of 76.3%.

He’s also been Georgia Southern’s top option for extra points. In his career, he’s made 110-of-113 point-after attempts.

Kentucky is looking for a new kicker this season. Matt Ruffolo departed the program following the 2022 campaign as he begins his professional career. Ruffolo was a 4-year contributor for the Wildcats. No player besides Ruffolo has attempted a field goal or extra point for Kentucky since the 2020 season.

Kentucky now has 11 transfer commitments so far this offseason. The group ranks in the top 20 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
