Kentucky reaches into Ohio again for WR commit
Part of the success of the Mark Stoops tenure at Kentucky has been the Wildcats’ consistent recruiting prowess in Ohio. On Friday, the Wildcats pulled off another commitment from the Buckeye State for the Class of 2018.
In a ceremony at his high school, wide receiver prospect Meechi Harris said he committed to the Wildcats. Harris reportedly has 18 offers from mostly schools from the Midwest and northeast. The 6-foot-2, 188-pounder is a 3-star recruit, according to 247 Sports. He was recruited by Vince Marrow, who has developed a reputation at Kentucky as the key assistant coach to recruit Ohio.
The Wildcats have 18 commits in the Class of 2018, and UK is currently ranked No. 7 in the SEC, according to 247 Sports.
