Mark Stoops hints at changes on offense following Tennessee loss
Mark Stoops accepted complete responsibility for Kentucky’s 24-7 loss at Tennessee.
The offense in particular struggled as the Wildcats had just 77 rushing yards and were 6-for-17 on third down. QB Terry Wilson was 21-for-34 passing for 172 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
“Not a very good effort, really starts with me and ends with me,” Stoops said. “Didn’t have the team prepared, so not a good enough job by myself. Got to accept that responsibility, get back to work and do some things differently and try to get a better result.”
Asked if there was a hangover from last week’s Georgia game, Stoops said, “I don’t know. Can’t be. Wasn’t good enough. Obviously I didn’t have the team prepared, so it’s on me.”

Mark Stoops: Playing catchup is not a good scenario for a lot of teams, but it’s definitely not good for us.
