Peter Schrager has talked to enough people around the NFL to understand that Kentucky QB Will Levis may be the most intriguing quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft.

“Will Levis could go 4th overall to the Colts,” he said. “Will Levis could have the greatest Thursday evening that he could imagine. He could go 4th overall to the Colts, he could go 2nd overall to the Texans. He could have an amazing draft experience where he just focused on being him, got to the draft, got selected in the top 5 and he’s going to be a quarterback Week 1 starting in the NFL. Or he could slide, I don’t know. I’ve heard Colts, Colts, Colts the last few days.”

Schrager on “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network reported that the Colts are “desperate” for a QB at No. 4. Schrager admitted that mock drafts and other projections come down to matches and fits with teams, and he said Levis to the Colts makes a lot of sense.

“Around the league, they’re like, ‘If it’s not there, I don’t know where,'” he said. “It could be one of those days where he’s sitting in the green room or it could be clean and easy and he’s sitting there 4th overall and Colts are the team and all right we’ve got our man.”
