A first-round draft pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Josh Allen has already made a splash in his first appearance in the NFL.

The former Kentucky star and the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, Allen faced the Baltimore Ravens and quickly swallowed up a running play, shown in this video on Twitter by MadeByTim. Allen cut RB Gus Edwards for a 2-yard loss.

Allen has been limited by a knee injury, something coach Doug Marrone was aware of when he recapped Allen’s recent play.

“I feel really good about where he is,” Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said, according to CatsPause.com. “You got to remember, we all didn’t see him that much in OTAs and mandatory minicamp because we rested him. We didn’t see him practice so we brought him in slowly during camp and all of a sudden today it looked like he stepped up another level, which is what you want to see.”
