Will Levis has found a place in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans.

The former Kentucky Wildcats QB made his NFL debut in late October in place of Ryan Tannehill following an injury. Since then, there have been some up and downs.

But on Monday night, Levis put together his best game in the NFL to date, leading the Titans to a comeback victory over the Miami Dolphins, 28-27.

Levis’ Titans trailed 27-13 with under 3 minutes remaining, but that’s when the former Wildcat went to work. He led a scoring drive that ended with a short 3-yard touchdown to Hopkins followed by a successful 2-point conversion. Tennessee then forced a 3-and-out and, upon receiving the ball, took just 4 plays to find the end zone once more.

Levis completed 2 passes for 52 yards on this final touchdown drive, with Derrick Henry punching in the game-winning score.

One of those late passes was to DeAndre Hopkins, a veteran NFL receiver who was Levis’ favorite target Monday night. Hopkins finished with 7 receptions for 124 yards and 1 touchdown.

Here’s what the star receiver had to say about his new quarterback:

“I saw a dawg out here today,” Hopkins said postgame. “That kid is going to be great. I’m always in his ear, trying to help him… I’ll still be on him when we get back, but Will showed heart. I love competing and playing with him.”
